As Union of Municipalities of Thrace , in order to contribute to the economical capacities of our member municipalities, primarily for the European Union (EU) Projects, is organizing seminars, workshops, meetings, fairs, symposiums and organizations in order for municipalities to benefit from grants, technical aids, programs and opportunities.
With these works, it is aimed to provide additional sources for the services of local governments, to ensure that projects are more efficient, active and of better quality and sustainable, to organize these services in a permanent and participation oriented manner and to contribute to the local economic developments by enabling them to benefit from foreign financial sources.
Our union is monitoring the fund programs declared by EU, informing the project departments of our municipalities and enabling them to train their own project members for the organizations it has held.
